Prices
For our local day trips: Hanmer Springs, Kaikoura & Mt Lyford:
$75/hour for 1-3 passengers. Extra passenger $10 per hour.
Longer multi day trips P.O.A
Our trips are unsuitable for children under 15 years.

To introduce ourselves
We are Donald and Mary McIntosh, the owner-operators of Roving Adventures. Donald is a third generation New Zealander while Mary is a more recent British import. We farmed for twenty years in North Canterbury before deciding to sell up to allow Donald to indulge his passion for four-wheel driving. He is a fully qualified trainer and registered assessor for drivers of off-road vehicles. We spend our holidays exploring out of the way places by 4WD vehicle both in New Zealand and overseas. Our most recent adventures have been in Australia, Iceland and Namibia.
Donald’s four wheel drive experience, will safely take you into the rugged heart of the South Island of New Zealand. You will be able to sit back, relax and enjoy a unique experience.
