A day out from Kaikoura

Kaikoura from Mt. Fyffe

Your guide meets you at your accommodation at 9.30 am.

After a leisurely drive through the Inland road we visit Mt Lyford village. Coming back down the mountain we cross over the Mason River on to private farm land where you will enjoy a leisurely picnic lunch while admiring the view across to Mt Lyford and out over the Amuri Plain.

After lunch we follow the Inland road to the township of Waiau to meet local jet boat operator Mark. As you cruise peacefully down the river enjoying the scenery he will explain the natural history of the area.

Roving Adventures will be waiting for you at the state highway with a cup of tea before your return to Kaikoura at approximately 5.30 pm
